Color, textures, patterns and geometry of the stems add great leading lines along which the viewer's eyes can wander and enjoy. Some of the petals are rather hot, but the light is dancing with a lot of lovely shadows and highlights...enough to make up for the small blown out areas. Dandelions add a little varietal impact. Lovely image.

By Isachsen (2006-09-19 04:07:14 ): What i like here is how you have use the softness in the forground where the flowers are out of focus. Then it gets sharper and brighter, to end up on the top right with the three soft and fluffy flowers. This plays with my senses in a pleasant way. I would suggest a crop on the left side to bring more attention over on the right side of the image.
