Photographer's Comment: I think this one may fit the assignment better. I'll let you all be the jugde of that. I like the curve that was part of the previous assignment

Greg, image is good. Looks like the weather got you a little. :o) In fact it rained a little but not even enough to get the area under the benches wet. Good snap for the assignment, it covers all requirements. Don’t know if you can lighten up the area or not. Might want to try that, along with a little more saturation.

Since the light is not so great, I'd like to suggest you darken the image to create a more interesting mood. Another thing: is that a dust spot or some imperfection on the ground ?
By fotostalker (2007-07-08 18:42:58 ): I like the shot as is, especially since there is a repetition of the bench further along the wall. I think cropping the image would diminish the sense of depth that is so wonderfully captured here.
By DougWilkening (2007-07-08 11:38:10 ): Very nice. I see you got an S-curve in there too. This one might be improved if you crop a bit off the bottom. I don't think you need all the legs of the bench to be included, just having the wood parts, the back and the seat, are enough for the effect. Too much foreground can make the background items just a decoration. If you cut out some foreground, leaving most but not all of the bench, it may make the people and houses in the BG more interesting, and not mere accessories.
