Although this is just a personal issue. The photo is well done and your subject looks to have nice feet which is always a plus when shooting them. :)

By cursmicon (2007-03-22 09:51:23 ): A fine display of imagination and creativity. Personally, I feel that the b&w treatment makes this an excellent image. To me, color often distracts the eye and mind whereas b&w causes us to focus on the content of the image. nicely done image, well composed and lighted. The soft light is perfect for the subject. Is this window light or artificial?
