Photographer's Comment: With hesitation I went to the beach with my sister, her hubby and their son to see if we could catch a sunset with the impending storm. What a glorious surprise we were met with!

By WIAUNTBEE (2008-07-24 21:48:34 ): There was not a light source to the left. If anything, the sand was probably acting as a reflector. As for the whitecaps far out, that is actually from a ship wreck!

By littlepeanut (2008-07-24 14:13:02 ): stunning! Love all the driftwood on the shore, and the way the orange glow hits the water all the way up the diagonal of the shoreline. Great composition and handling of the light. It's amazing how the whitecaps are seen so far out too. Was there a light source to the left?
