By smokeydawg (2008-07-25 13:52:05 ): Thank you Audi, I really appreciate it. Thanks about the technicals, just lots and lots and lots of practice, you should see some of my early flub ups. I still have a long way to go, but that's the beauty of photography, it's truly a lifelong journey. :o Carl
By audlee (2008-07-25 04:52:36 ): I think it is the perfect rose for this story and ties the whole story together so beautifully. Not only does it have the visible, slight (meaningless really) flaws, but it is so full of potential -- so many beautiful petals ready to bloom, so abundant, so glorious. But delicate just the same. Thanks for raising awareness on so many levels. Envious of your technicals too. audi
By smokeydawg (2008-07-25 01:43:22 ): Also wanted to say thanks for noticing the small defect in the rose, when I saw it, I immediately thought this was the perfect flower for this story. That even with slight imperfections, things / people can still be beautiful. :) Carl
