By BeatriceFriedli (2008-03-28 12:30:15 ): ok, lots of things here to try to help. High noon is the worst light to start to learn how to shoot in. But, that's when you are out touring. So, to make the image more interesting, first is to have a strong composition and story. Pay attention to details. There is not much interest here in this image. I know the thought of going between rocks seems like a cool idea, but, here the other end is not all that interesting. Aside from trees, there are poles and lots of little things that distract away from that supposed tree. Plus the light is washed out and stuff so the eye does not get pulled sweetly. In high noon, look for strong shadows for interesting lines. Try to meter the exposures better where the light is more even. Work on the comps and focal points and pay attention to details to start. hope that helps
