By EnterVortex (2008-03-28 03:58:43 ): Katia, I would have never even thought of giving this assignment a sense of motion to catch what the pet was really all about. You are quite a few steps higher on the photographer ladder than I am. Great work.

By ktapio (2008-03-25 10:09:54 ): Thanks Carlos, our apartment is light by florescent lights all the way so I try incandescent with it to give warmth to images. Azure’s color is very interesting too. katia
By lynnrider (2008-03-25 01:32:58 ): Katia - I think she is singing to you:) I really like the effect the movement caught on her eye with the little light squiggle line. A saying in our house is "cats rule - dogs drool!" They really do seem to rule the house don't they? Nice capture - Sometimes it's more difficult when they are in motion than when they are still.
By LindaJames (2008-03-24 19:37:55 ): This is a terrific example of a cat's independent nature. I love her mouth and the little squiggle of light in her eye. Well done.
By GuitarGodsWife (2008-03-24 19:24:23 ): Very cool effect and colors that you captured, Katia. Very creative!
By Isachsen (2008-03-24 15:36:15 ): Almost an abstraction. The motion blur works perfect for me. I love the mood here!
By karmal (2008-03-24 07:42:49 ): Nice and different take for the assignment. I really like the colors and the impressionist feel.

By ktapio (2008-03-24 07:39:34 ): Gregory the image you are talking about Azure was in the car in a leash very scared to even move. That was the only reason.. Thanks for your kind remarks. katia
By ktapio (2008-03-24 07:36:27 ): I tell you Janith these cats do feel they are superior. I do not know why but they sure do.katia
By ktapio (2008-03-24 07:34:47 ): Thanks John. Meawooo to you too...katia
By ktapio (2008-03-24 07:33:30 ): I took many shoots of this cutie girl. But I was not able to catch a different view. And she is very active little one. Thanks CJ for looking in. katia
By greg-y (2008-03-24 05:46:50 ): Katia after looking at your B&V it would seem Azure can model well when she wants to. Nice take.
By janith (2008-03-23 23:56:53 ): Very funny image, Katia! She looks like she's ready to attack or really confused or maybe even laughing at you! Nice catch---don't you wish we could plan these things?
By johnwillems (2008-03-23 22:53:11 ): The Cat of Catia. Wow!! Miaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwww!
By CJGroth (2008-03-23 22:47:57 ): Arghghghghg! You channeled my idea, Katia, only much better than I could have done. I envisioned a big blurry dog with tongue hanging out to the side and one sharp eye, but you managed to do it with your kitty, and we all know how temperamental they are! Love the golden tones, probably from the incandescent light. Love the two noses and multiple ears.
