In your suggestion for the bg do you mean totally out of focus or totally in sharp focus and not in between? I chose this aperture because I wanted some in focus because she was totally mesmerized with the beauty of the country here in my home town, she is an Irish girl and kept saying it reminded her of Ireland so I wanted the bg to be visible but not too sharp as to take the focus off her. Your suggestions and input are truly appreciated-Dawn

By leachy (2008-03-19 14:40:26 ): hey dawn. i would really like to have seen more of this lady's eyes. she seems to be looking too much out of the "corner" of her eyes. lovely mischievous smile. personally i would also try and get the bg totally out of focus and would have picked those yellow flowers and given them to her before the shot. nevertheless, a lovely image !

This was actually shot just two hours after sunrise ( I need to change the clock in my Camera)I figure because I am living in sunny California I must learn to work with the sun. Only little thing I see and it is very minor is the little white area in top right just at the crest of the rolling hill tends to draw the eye but easily fixed. Well done!

By dawnschubert (2008-03-18 20:36:20 ): Hi John! It's still officially winter here in the US, I think the first day of spring is next week. The day I shot this was a beautiful sunny, breezy, and cold day. You are correct in your observation of the fact that she is MORE than a country girl. She is actually a city girl enjoying a day in the country. She was very good with posing but yes very sensual, when I figured out that was the direction she was going with my posing suggestions, I just had to work with it. I did get quite a few beautiful, sexy/sensual poses of her. Yes I did use my reflector, I am still trying to work on the placement as far as distance goes with the reflector, thanks for your comment-Dawn
