Photographer's Comment: All three of these were shot with the same light set up. Shot in studio "white room" Two strobes, one on each side of subject pointed at white back wall. So the subject is lit from rear with reflected light. Food coloring used in my cheap 99cent table special Michaels two foot gomlet.

By smokeydawg (2008-03-20 21:52:56 ): PS, the goblet is glass, it was 99cents sitting in one of those clearance tables.
By smokeydawg (2008-03-20 21:52:15 ): Thanks Linda. Got the bubbles from pouring water into the goblet.
By smokeydawg (2008-03-20 21:51:33 ): Thanks Lynn, food coloring is fun, plan on doing some more with it. Did have another that I will probably post on the critique page in the next couple days.

By janith (2008-03-19 22:23:02 ): This is my favorite of the series, I think. The bubbles give it a celebratory feeling and I enjoy the turquoise with the subtle greys. Nice comp, Carl.
By LindaJames (2008-03-19 04:17:35 ): All 3 of these shots are really well done. This is probably my favorite, great bubbles.
By lynnrider (2008-03-19 01:26:43 ): Isn't food coloring fun! I really like the diagonal lines in this - lighting is beautiful Carl. Is that Michael's goblet glass or plastic? Looks like it's fun to play with:)
By wilbs999 (2008-03-19 01:13:36 ): Ahhh. Bubbly. Beautiful. Bubbles and the blue, in what clearly looks like a glass stem - My favorite.
By somagni (2008-03-18 21:00:51 ): This one is my favorite, Carl. I think because it has the most contrast. Love the bubbles too!
By Scepter (2008-03-18 20:47:58 ): Man! I love shots like this. I've tried a dozen times but no success. Nice angle, nice crop
By ktapio (2008-03-18 16:16:45 ): Kept going back and forth about the three samples you put up. They are so different yet the same and this one got my eye the most I should say. The composition color and lighting in this image was more soothing to my sight.
