Eagle - 30D on Auto

Photographer's Comment: Went out to the river to photograph some eagles and get some assignment shots yesterday, this spot is only about 12 minutes from my house, in the city limits. The eagles congregate here because there is a lock and dam just up river that keeps the water from freezing and makes for some good fishing for these majestic birds, saw about 20 of them in the hour I was out there. It's amazing the comeback they have made. If you can't tell I'm a huge eagle nut, love to just go out and watch them soar but I really need to get a longer lens to do this right.

Only extreme close ups get old if that is all we see. I am glad you included the trees in this shot.
