I have to agree with Mo and her suggestions on the lighting though, it is a little flat and no real directionality to it. It's good as is, but some directional light would really enhance this and make it more moody and more like an old hollywood film lighting. If you watch some of those old movies, look at the lighing in them, lots of moody shadows!

By mo (2008-02-22 14:52:48 ): I have to disagree with others about the light- it seems pretty direct and thus a bit flat. there is no dimensionality to her collarbones or neck at all, and the shadow behind her hand indicates that she is facing a relitively strong light. perhaps if she were facing more toward the camera, the light would fall across her and sculpt her arms, neck and face a bit more. I think cropping as you have at the legs is OK if you lose the space above her head. the old hollywood feel is great with the couch and costume, and the lighting is working on her hair- just one viewers opinion- a little tweaking of her pose would help the light to work better overall
