By joedlh (2008-02-01 14:43:47 ): More detail in the eye sounds like a good idea. However, if you have ever seen one of these critters up close. There is no detail. Their eyes, adapted as they are for deep under water hunting, really are black. You can pump it up to a deep red, but then it looks artificial and a little scary. Those dark doe eyes make them look endearing, but the do not like people and will bite. Their nearest land relative is the bear and they have the teeth to prove it.

By smokeydawg (2008-01-31 18:03:19 ): I like the shot, but agree about trying to pull out more detail in the eyes, a curves or levels adj should work but do it as a new adj layer so you can do some masking.
