Photographer's Comment: Taken on a walk Thursday, a few yards from my back door, this is a view of a patch of sky reflected in the surface of the lake behind my house. The quite subtle parallel lines are wind ripples in the lake surface, though they resemble light rays coming through the clouds. I had my long lens on, since I was chasing a great blue heron, at the time, so I stitched this together from three consecutive frames. After that I adjusted the tonalities and color in Photoshop.
