Disappearing Rail

Photographer's Comment: A piece of old railroad ties and irons, that used to be along the Narrows in NY. It has long vanished into the water as erosion has taken it's toll on such discarded pieces of Americana.

By joedlh (2008-01-25 19:09:11 ): This is an interesting study. I like the detail in the aged rails and rusty plates. Exposure is good without blowing out the highlights in the rocks. I would remove what looks like two pieces of plastic litter and crop the top a little to remove the black shadow.
