By kdivineboulder (2008-01-19 21:47:25 ): I like it and actually thought you had added a different image blended into the wall.

By twadams (2008-01-19 01:33:50 ): I like this very much Dawn, especially the inside wall of the cabin and the far left placement of the window . Great job.

By lynnrider (2008-01-19 01:00:02 ): I'm jealous! You've got green grass and I got snow, again:)

By BeatriceFriedli (2008-01-19 00:22:58 ): it works...your main focus is the scene out the window so the blurred cabin is fine. You could burn in the window scene more so it's not so washed out like.

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 19:07:20 ): Thanks John, this is my favorite time of year here in Livermore because the grass is turning green from all the rain, although the late morning fog was still lingering in the air I was happy to get a bit of the green grass.

By smokeydawg (2008-01-18 19:01:25 ): Fun for me is the key! :) Keep having fun with it and you can go far! At least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

By johnwillems (2008-01-18 19:00:56 ): Beatifull image and the gren colours takes the attention. Great compo. John.

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 18:25:00 ): Thanks Carl! I am having so much fun. I appreciate all your comments.

By smokeydawg (2008-01-18 17:28:29 ): I really like this Dawn, great comp, and nice job on the technicals, and I really like the mood. Your are growing quickly!!! Keep it up!

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 15:50:14 ): Thanks Rachel. I did make a minor adjustment to the shadows and highlights trying to lighten up the wood wall area. I forgot to mention that it was a foggy morning so detail and color weren't available. I am going to try and work with the original to see if I can tone the light a little. Thanks!

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 15:46:31 ): thank you for your comment. It was a foggy morning so I wasn't able to get much detail. I think you're right though it may be a little blown out.

By CamGram (2008-01-18 11:39:27 ): Dawn, I think that the out of focus dark wall works just fine and I really like the way you framed the view; however, the image (in the window) just seems a little blown out. To my untrained eye, it looks like it use more detail or color.

By rachael (2008-01-18 10:21:26 ): I have no problem with it being out of focus, but maybe in trying to get a little colour or detail you have blown out the outside exposure? Rachael

By karmal (2008-01-18 07:00:03 ): Hi Dawn. I don't see any problem with the out-of-focus wall. I like the color connection between wall and grass and at the same time the dark-bright duality. Carlos

By jimdstearns (2008-01-18 05:23:40 ): Works for me. Nice pic and good comp.

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 04:39:12 ): Thanks Mo! I was just admiring the images on your B&V.

By mo (2008-01-18 04:14:07 ): I like it very much- the focus pulls me thru the window.

By dawnschubert (2008-01-18 03:32:24 ): Thank you. At first I wasn't sure about the wall being dark and out of focus but the more I look at it the more I like it. I am curious as to what my friends here at PWS think. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

By lynnrider (2008-01-18 03:26:13 ): Dawn - I think it works well with the focus of the subject. this is a really nice series you've got going here.
