By Jim915 (2008-01-15 00:59:47 ): Lynn - this is a very attractive abstract. I like the opposite orientations of the patterns in the two major elements and the placement of the diagonal. I like that you were able to capture dramatic light without allowing the relatively intense light at the lower right to blow out.

By lynnrider (2008-01-14 16:58:14 ): Thanks Ken:)

By lynnrider (2008-01-14 16:58:02 ): Thanks for the suggestion. this is one I still want to do some playing with, so turning it somewhat will be included.

By KBittancourt (2008-01-14 13:53:47 ): Very interesting nuances in the shadows. nice - Ken

By TMartin (2008-01-14 06:17:58 ): This is really cool. I would have put the line right into the corners durning exposure by turning the camera. The line is very obvious and pulls the eyes out of the photo. Good subject though.

By lynnrider (2008-01-14 04:16:02 ): thanks Robert. It's actually a part of the Denver Art Museum - the lighting made it "flow" and it reminded me of a quilt.

By robertb (2008-01-14 01:59:16 ): I really like the texture and the way the light falls on the blanket. Would be even more effective if you could have thrown a rose or some small high colour object in for contrast and centre of interest.
