Photographer's Comment: From a distance I saw a lot of color and an unheard voice and some sort of presence beakoned to me. As we walked out along the rim of the crater at Kiluea Caldera on the Big Island, I was drawn toward this cliff face, only to realize it was Pele calling to me so she could reveal herself. An amazing experience.
