By Jim915 (2007-11-25 17:57:51 ): John - I really enjoy your point of view here. The diagonal created by the girl is very effective at catching the viewer's attention and combined with the elevated position of the camera creates a fine composition. Very nice.
By johnwillems (2007-11-24 16:37:48 ): Hi Mo, "I'am" sorry for the "he", but "I'am" sure "she" is beautifull "she".
Thanks for posted Your appreciated reply. From John (a real "He")!
By mo (2007-11-24 05:27:49 ): hey John- I'm a 'she' not a 'he'(grin)...its not that I didnt get or didnt like the your message- I was commenting that I dont enjoy text on an image- I do like the image- the innocent, awkward teenager so wonderfully captured- for me that was more just powerful than the 'commercialism' message....
By smokeydawg (2007-11-24 00:07:19 ): Ok, I'm slow, I get the consumerism story now. In which case I reverse my statement above. Sorry about that. :)
By chomaee (2007-11-23 23:43:37 ): Kool concept John. I likey
By johnwillems (2007-11-23 23:25:01 ): PWS-member Mo, inspired me with a nice comment, but I think he didn't understood (or did'nt like) the message with 'I'am'. These version is indeed a second version with a light adaptation and a made my free-jazz-photo, a little bit more dynamique. Dan, Your description of the message is for 100% correct! You recieve from me four-fives for these pro-synthese and the wise words. I can't better write it than You doing. Thanks very much for your appreciated comment. Friendli from John.
By fotostalker (2007-11-23 21:11:24 ): John, is this a 2nd version? It seems that the "I am" was higher and more centered and I didn't notice the bar code before. I really like this! I think there is a strong message/story here about consumerism as well as a strong social/cultural statement about identity, individualism and the impersonality of modern times as regards target marketing and statistical analysis of such . . . if any of that makes any sense. Anyway . . . I find this to be a very strong and provocative image -- well composed and executed. Peace, Dan
By smokeydawg (2007-11-23 15:50:51 ): I really like the pov in this John, it's different and I like that. I'm not to sure about the "I am" or the bar code.
