By Isachsen (2007-11-14 21:21:06 ): The above advice of including fewer things in the frame is also a good one. But I am still so fascinated by that reflection!

By Isachsen (2007-11-14 21:19:04 ): What I especially love here is the great reflection in that tin box lid.

By ktapio (2007-11-14 05:32:20 ): Very generous tips you gave me and so helpful thanks I am reading and soon you will see the results. It is so wonderful to have so many kind photographers willing to share their know hows. Thanks again. katia

Fill the screen with it! symmetrical, and yet so many different colors and reflections! Also, you lighting here is really not working with the shot. It comes off very grey. Perhaps a custom white balance would have helped, or some better lighting. I for one totally understand how hard it is to photograph beads and jewelry. I have my own handcrafted jewelry website, and trying to get the pics right! WOW. took me almost two years to figure it out! My suggestion - Re do a shot with just the bead box. Find and online tutorial on how to make a cheapo homemade lightbox. Use a bit of post processing to really make it POP, and I think you would have a great stock photo shot!
