By Jim915 (2007-11-10 00:13:04 ): Carl - I like the softness in both images. By that I mean not only the focus but the light and colors as well. This is my favorite of the two because of the composition. She is placed very nicely within the frame and her extended arm add life to the image because of the implied motion. On my monitor, the sky appears to have some blue that I think could be brought out using a mask and a Curve adjustment. Bringing it out would contrast nicely with the yellows of the middle ground grasses and it would also add a little life to the sky.

She found this thing, got a quick snap, realized what she had, got it away from her, all in about a 5 second period of time. It was a cig that apparently melted its way into a discarded bubble blowing bottle. Until she came around, I had forgotten how quick they can be.
