Photographer's Comment: This dragonfly was kind enough to hover long enough for me to snap off several shot in the lovely early morning light before he went on his merry way -- what luck! I wasn't very far away AND had the 100-400mm lens on the camera.

By Jim915 (2007-10-28 22:14:30 ): Both of these dragonfly images are very nice. I think this is my favorite because the BG is more dynamic and that makes the entire image more dynamic. The light is wonderful. Very nice job.

By fotostalker (2007-10-13 22:12:57 ): thanks, mo . . . he's just about some serious business . . . part of which is checking me out, me thinks.
By mo (2007-10-13 17:43:10 ): I think that this is fantastic- if I look long enough I can see an (unhappy?) expression on his face. ...the various wing-beats that you caught look like blades of a fan, and I imagine him moving thru the air in a tight, fast spin- just great....
