About Samuel Roach:
I grew up in a photographic family, in the Caribbean island Barbados, where from early I assisted my parents in the photo lab as well as the studio and on various jobs. By age 17, after doing photography for all my life (up to that time) I grew tired of it and switched to Information Technology. After doing that for 14 years and with the advent of digital photography, my interest in photography has been revived since with digital I can shoot nature and scenic shots to my heart's content without having to worry about the costs of film and printing in what was once an expensive hobby. Now, my background in photography and information technology is converging and my passion for using the computer to produce interesting photography is growing as I discover and learn new skills.
