About Diana Sanzone:
My Masters degree is in Speech and Language Pathology and I made my living as a Speech/Language Pathologist. My undergraduate degree is a B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design in NYC awarded many years ago. My concentration was fine art -- painting and drawing, although I also studied photography. There was no digital photography at that time, and even though I used my camera, I was never deeply into it until about 8 years ago when I got my first digital camera. Wow, did that re-awaken the photography bug in me! Now, I do digital photography exclusively. I use Photoshop to work on my pictures and then print them up myself. It thrills me to have complete control from start to finish. My photos often have a painterly quality, probably because of my painter's background. I find that I photograph people mostly, either in spontaneous situations or posed, but I will photograph anything that grabs my imagination.
