About William Karam:
William Karam William\’s longtime passion of photography developed into a businness a few years ago in New York City, where he continues to live and work. His BFA degree came from Northwestern State University in his native home state of Louisiana, majoring in painting. He has worked with retail giants such as Target and the venerable American institution , Brooks Brothers. He now has two editions of his new landscape photography book in print: "Fire Island Treasures, A Photo Graphic Journal". His next book, Louisiana: Back Roads & City Streets", by UNO Press will be released by the University of New Orleans Press in March, 2009. All current books & editions are available on amazon.com! While he has learned to adapt to the new world of technology in this digital age, he continiues to shoot with film using standard SLR cameras, as well as digital. His fine art photography is primarily black & white. Prints are traditional finished on archival fiber and are mostly gealtin silver prints.
