About Gary Baird:
I am a Retired Professional Computer Programmer ... now I want to start a new career as a (Professional?) Photographer. I enjoy taking pictures and eventhough I understand what is happening in the process, I still think it's like magic to capture an instant in time. I'm a visual person so it's natural that I am drawn to this type of endeavor. I would love to make enough money from selling photos to keep up with the cost of new equipment and software.
