To complete this assignment, I decided to photograph Jack. He is one of my favorite kids to photograph; he’s animated yet capable of thoughtful moments. The picture I chose as most representative was taken in the open doorway of a car — after one of his basketball games. His expression shows that he’s a kid with depth, and you can tell that we have a special connection. The photo was taken at ISO 1600, f/11, 1/640 sec. with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS lens.
